Avoid using HDFC Millenia Debit Card to buy Gift card using HDFC Smartbuy.

Don't use HDFC Millenia Debit card to purchase any Gift card on HDFC Smartbuy. Currently Smartbuy Transactions are not properly tracked for HDFC Millenia DC and they are giving 2.5% instead of 5+5%.

Better use HDFC Millenia DC to pay for CC bill through HDFC Portal to get 400 cashback.

But for CCs its tracked properly.

You will get around 200 cashback(2.5%), instead of 594 for 8236 Amazon GF purchase using HDFC Smartbuy.

Even sending mails to them not working, as they are denying these are not Smartbuy transactions (Eventhough its mentioned - GTFYR VIA SMARTBUY in Transaction).

It's stopped giving cashback from Jan 2024 onwards.

Anybody used HDFC Millenia DC and got cashback for Jan and Feb Month, please let me know.

Loyalty points Millennia debit card is exclusive to millennia debit card feature of 5% cb on smartbuy(which hdfc currently isn't giving correctly)/2.5% on ecommtxns/1% on wallet loads. Promotional cashback is 5% smartbuy offer which is applicable to all hdfc debit & credit cards(some credit cards get 3x/5x points instead)
