We have piped gas at home and being lighter than LPG, regular lighters have to be clicked 2-3 maybe 4 times to result in a flame that click click is very irritating 😑

Gas lighter is better but life is shorter and of course need to refill gas.

Thinking of auto-ignition stoves. Have 4 small qs 🙏🏻:

1) cleaning is hassle free like regular stoves or can't do this and can't do that types?

2) auto-ignition works consistently or need to maintain lighter as backup?

3) servicing needs are regular or enhanced?

4) overall if your experience is smooth? if yes suggest brand -looking for 3 burner stove. even product link 🔗 will be helpful 🙏🏻

PS - searched DD DD but couldn't find similar thread.

Auto-ignition stoves can definitely make life easier, but there are a few things to keep in mind:

1️⃣ Cleaning-Generally easy, just like regular stoves, but keep the ignition points clean!!!!!

2️⃣ Consistency- Reliable, but it's good to keep a lighter as "backup"

3️⃣ Servicing- Slightly more frequent,YESS!
(yearly maintenance is usually enough)

4️⃣Experience: Smooth overall.

I'd recommend Prestige or Faber.
I feel Prestige Marvel 3 Burner (Auto Ignition) is worth checking out ❤️‍ fire

Yes, hassle free, while cleaning just need to take care of the auto-ignition pin, which is near to the burner.

2) auto-ignition works consistently or need to maintain lighter as backup?

Not required / but optional

3) servicing needs are regular or enhanced?

Not regularly / as & when required

4) overall if your experience is smooth? if yes suggest brand -looking for 3 burner stove. even product link 🔗 will be helpful 🙏🏻

Using local brand bro, perfectly working since past 5 years, without need of any servicing, no repairs so far.

@pingpong -- I have Elica 4 burner built in hob with auto ignition.

1) Cleaning is hassle free like regular stoves or can't do this and can't do that types?

-- If something spills over and you clean it immediately then no issues at all. I do deep cleaning myself once in a year.

2) Auto-ignition works consistently or need to maintain lighter as backup?

-- Yes it does. Mine has battery powered auto ignition. It need one D type cell. I keep additional cell in stock just in case.

3) Servicing needs are regular or enhanced?

-- Same as Q1.

4) overall if your experience is smooth? if yes suggest brand -looking for 3 burner stove. even product link 🔗 will be helpful.

-- Based on my experience, I would recommend Elica. Customer service is good and one has option to escalate if things go south. (Tried and tested 😄)

Since you are looking for a countertop auto ignition gas stove, check if these brands have a service center nearby. Prestige, Sunflame, Jyoti.

Do let me know your budget and would suggest few.
