Hi,
Is it possible to use a laptop's secondary hard drive as Windows Installation media? If yes, please let me know.
When I connect it to my laptop, it does not show up as an external media, though I am able to browse all the files on the 2nd hard drive.
TIA 😊

no use pendrive, install ventoy, then copy paste windows iso file, now u can use that pendrive as installation media as well as for ur own use
Means the same drive can contain WIN ISO and other files (other than ISO) simultaneously.
??

I have an old laptop which had windows 8.1 installed. Somehow, windows is not getting loaded (going past the initial grey screen).
I have another laptop which I want to use it to install win 10 using the hard drive. Unfortunately, my 8GB pendrive has become of no use. So, thought of using the hard drive of the old laptop to install win 10.

yes u can use pendrive normally but still it can have multiple iso, boot from any one of them, no need to make the pendrive bootable ever again as normal copy pasting updated iso is enough
