ATMs across the country go dry
For the last few weeks, several areas in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have reported shortage of currency. Now similar reports are coming from eastern Maharashtra, Bihar and Gujarat too. The government is checking with banks and the Reserve Bank of India to ensure adequate supply of currency, ET Now reported. Sources in the finance ministry said the cash crunch was not alarming and there was no need to panic.

Income tax department would look into individual withdrawals over the past two-three months to assess why ATMs are out of cash.
Instead of printing sufficient currency, they can do all sorts of things

And interestingly, these are same breed of bhakts who did PhD overnight on why cashless society is good for economy. Suddenly, when there is less cash, they forgot all those preaching. 
We don’t know who holds PhD in that but agree to point that cashless society is really good for economy. Only process has started and it takes a courage to start a process. Soon with more and more people adopting the habit to withdraw less cash and using digital modes, we will see results too. Bro, if you don’t want to be part of it then no problem but atleast make other learn around you. Maybe they get benefit of that. I would have supported digital India if congress had started it. Something as a start should be appreciated. Forget about cashless, we first need less cash society.
As far as conspiracy theories are concerned. They are here to stay as there are many in India who love to put hurdles in good work and in what way they do cheap things can’t be guessed. Just like hoarding of onions or other commodities hit the politics, cash crunch too has power to hit it. Hawa hi aisi hai ki ab toh opposition kya bewakoofi karde pata hi nahi lagta. BJP jab opposition mein thi toh itna darr nahi lagta tha jitna 44 Congis se lagta hai. 
ban 2000 rs notes and make ATM calibrate for 200 rs notes, that all.

Situation was pathetic in states like AP, TG and even Karnataka from last 3 months. Just now problem extended to other states and becoming bigger news. And thanks to scaring people with stupid bills like FRDI, banks withdrawal charges , common man is hoarding cash.
It seems there are paid supporters on DD as well…

@Mirror Don’t argue with them. They don’t deserve this much. Some people get offended by the word hard work here as it is not their cup of tea and waiting for freebies is what they can do all their lives rather than earn respect by their work. Again bringing in names of parties and people. While I emphasized on self working hard and achieving goals, they posting videos of A, B, C, D parties working or not. 
No matter how many candles are enlightened, they still looking at dark and wondering when their days will arrive. Seems like their whole life revolves around what politicians do and not what they have to do in their life.
