Are our efforts valued here?
I’ve noticed that the last couple of grocery deals I posted haven’t received much attention from the admins. All the deals I added are/were valid and has better discounts, yet it seems no one has checked or promoted them. I wanted to understand few things:
- I've already included all the relevant details in my deals. Are the ~85% discounts not sufficient for promotion, or is there something I'm missing in my deals?
- Are we not receiving commissions from grocery deals, or is there a general lack of interest in promoting them?
- Do we prioritize promoting deals from specific people, even if those deals are already out of stock or nearly out of stock at the time of posting?
I'm bringing this up because I genuinely want to understand what might be going wrong. We invest a lot of time and effort into finding and posting these deals, and it's disappointing if our contributions aren’t valued.

Bro I know few ppl who constantly appreciate your effort here. The main reason I added this thread is I wanted to know why Admin/DD team is not taking care of these deals. At the end if they will not see worth in your post then it will be stuck in some corner and no one will be able to find it.

Right question. Is it so much thing to worry? Half of in Dost & Dimes used to post good deals and now only come to Dost & Dimes, why?
Chill and put effort where it matters to you. Not to you but any Dimer who feels like you.

Yes this happens here as it is everywhere in the universe. Favourism..specific non sense, out of stock deals are jacked up over the genuine ones.. appreciate the OP for his efforts and bringing up this matter to the public..

The people who created this platform should remember that it was originally made for deal posters and buyers only! But now it seems like they’re more focused on finding people who violate trivial rules, like 'posting a comment without translation??". There should be two separate teams for both activities, with the majority focusing on promoting deals to the Hot Deal section and preventing spammy deals from making it there! I’m sure this company is either understaffed or the current staff isn’t as productive as the previous team was.!!!
Sometimes, I feel bad that creators like @ankit2690 @cweetkamal and many others put in so much effort but still don’t get the response they deserve. It could be because people are either selfish—taking the benefits without appreciating (i.e., upvoting)—or because such valuable posts don’t reach the Hot Deal section on time.
I’ve got a few points to discuss and will create a thread soon to start a discussion about a "community-based moderation process" , where we Dimers can help improve Desidime without completely depending on the staff!

We need justice to the good creators because they are the backbone of this platform. Without their efforts, there would be no deals, no content, and ultimately no user engagement. If they stop posting, the entire platform would lose its purpose, and the community would suffer. It’s crucial to ensure they get the recognition and support they deserve.

bro as per my understanding grocery deals pincode specific hoti h , i.e if your post getting good response and specific pincode peoples clicking your deal/giving interactions admins/peoples will vote up.
