Now a days I'm seeing that some specific dimmer/ user, every deal is going in hot section.

It's seems to be nepotism in dd

Whenever I see any Good Deal according to me, be it from Friend or Enemy or Even Spammer. I Upvote it.

I Upvote Even if I saw that Deal 5 mins ago in Telegram.

A click of a button doesn't waste much time I think.

Also worth mentioning that some guys took Real Efforts to Give Negative Karma without mentioning name.

This group voting, selection is age old problem.

Can someone explain how much money they make by posting deals?? On average per week per deal.

Right question. Is it so much thing to worry? Half of in Dost & Dimes used to post good deals and now only come to Dost & Dimes, why?

Chill and put effort where it matters to you. Not to you but any Dimer who feels like you.

Yes this happens here as it is everywhere in the universe. Favourism..specific non sense, out of stock deals are jacked up over the genuine ones.. appreciate the OP for his efforts and bringing up this matter to the public..

bro as per my understanding grocery deals pincode specific hoti h , i.e if your post getting good response and specific pincode peoples clicking your deal/giving interactions  admins/peoples will vote up.

Baat rahi efforts ki koi value nhi h yahan kyunki kuch dd par isiliye baithe ki kyunki usne dusro ki thread ki reach kam karni hoti h. Maine onion ka post daala to log comment karne aaye ki onion sasti ho jayegi mat lo. Aaj us thread on ko 2 mahine hone wale h onions aur menghi ho chuki hai. Phir mustard oil ka post daala to log comment karne Aagaye ke unke area me 100rs me mil raha h oil and jab baki logo ne poocha kaise mil raha h unka koi jawab nhi aaya.

Now someone gave me -ve karma. Don't know what that person gets in return.

HOWEVER, as per some other thread, you should not downvote anything if you don't see it as a Good Deal/Thread according to you. You should just ignore and move on!!

As far as I'm concerned, I don't check grocery deals. I hardly click on any deals unless they are 'real deals' not only from price prospective but also the product prospective.

I'm on DD for since 2011 and I see a major difference between erstwhile "FPD's" and todays 'Hot' deals. In my highly personal opinion, most of the "FPD's" were good deals. I can't say the same for 'Hot' deals. 

So what I started to do is...get on DD and head straight to Dost & Dimes and provide my comments/suggestions and share my experiences which might help someone. And also give a 'Thumbs Up' to good suggestions/recommendations. 

might be the timing of posting matters. if you post when most of the dimers are active it gets engagement, later it gets hidden under other deals.  Also grocery deals are location specific so less engagement is there.

Deals may be all good . But you can’t expect 100 % of your deals to reach the front page. There are many dimers who put lot of efforts but ,very few may gain hotness. Again % discount is not what attracts our intelligent dimers, ,but the availability of a particular product at a competitive or not seen before price.

Few other points

• Timing 

Deals posted at odd hours may not find mch traction. If the senior members or other Dimers from the admin team who can understand and vote up the deal are not present the deal may be ignored.

• Season

When the forum is flooded with too many good deals , few best deals may be ignored. No one’s fault

• Location and duration

IF dimers who can spot the deals are limited, so will be its hotness.

• Who has posted the deal ?

Not a good thing ,but,this is  how the world runs. But again this aura is generated after years of( or consistent ) hard work..

@ankit2690 Bro Its a community driver platform. Before i start answering relevant questions in this thread. I have one question for you, how many good deals you have voted in last 3 days? As per my data i see none. So according to you there were no good deals shared? I understand maybe you hardly vote deals or you could be more focused on sharing them. But now imagine if all are doing the same, then there will be hardly any dimer left who will vote (which is one of the factor directly related to deal hotness) and again one of the reason it is not the only factor we consider for hotness because then there will be many good deals which will be left out. Have always said in past too, community runs of the bases of exchange of healthy discussion, karma, votes, reactions, your comments on threads.   

Now coming to answering your questions, "Are our efforts valued here?"

Let me share some insides with you, as to me it seems like you have jumped to conclusion and may be thats why to me it feels like you are venting out. 

Average numbers of votes deals gets in hotdeal section is 4-5 (taking 10days average)
Average numbers of votes your deals gets is 12-14

Average hotness of any other dimer who are sharing more than 20 deals is around 70-130
Average hotness of deals shared by you is around 250-350 
 
If i check last 15 days data, you are in 2nd position when it comes to highest average hotness (hotdeal section) first is babubeg as he shares all those Rs 1 deals (which always attracts dimers comments & votes)

So do you still feel that your efforts are not valued? If i just go by the stats shared above then you are part of most valued Dimer in forum and i do strongly feel the same, as you do share complete info in your deals with proper ss for everyone.

most of your deal has highest hotness compare to all other dimers (not saying all other deals are best)
When i check grocery deals being added to Dimers group (your deals play major contribution there as well)  
Now other dimers will feel your deals are being favoured more compare to others, but that's not the case right.  

So as many dimers have already mentioned above (which i dont want to repeat), there could be multiple reason where you might see few of your deals are not visible but trust me admin team do try to check most of the deals in forum even if it has 1 vote. We dont handpick deals and push them and its never related to what commission we get (there are multiple offers/stores we dont get paid too n its still highlighted).  

@Pratikkkkkk one of the reason moderators are from forum as they know things in & out, which in turn helps us to solve things better and yes would love to hear your inputs on betterment, as we all want community to cherish.
