AT&T has recently stopped its unlock service..

That is the reason why you would see the ATT phones now selling at a lower price.

I am from Delhi, and there are a few shops in the market that are unlocking iPhones for 5k (Illegally)

Other options are available on ebay.com (Around 50 USD)

If you are looking to purchase iPhone 5 series phones, then better purchase Verizon as they are globally unlocked..

in local market it comes for 200-250.

it has 2 sim slots. in 1st slot you put r-sim and on 2nd you put your own sim. insert that in iPhone’s sim slot and bingo, apple will detect your desi network without unlocking.

note that new made sets doesn’t work anymore. old makes still work flawlessly.

So basically there is an iphone sim tray provided and on top of it there is a chip.

On top of that u simply need to place ur sim card. Thats it…

Now Rsim9+ is also working for 5c and 5s (Check eBay listings)

But ive heard that there are issues with 3G internet connectivity using Rsim..

even i checked online for R-Sim, even tht wont work on CDMA VERIZON iPhones it seems,bcoz R SIM is compatible with GSM only.
