You can make samsung wallet and call recording work by changing CSC code to INS (indian code) , you can google on how to change your csc code there are many tutorials. I bought mine from singapore and changed csc to india and have all features working.

what about updates ? I saw people have to use VPN in order to get updates.

using the network unlocked 'international' variant and call recording is working.
