Metrology is very interesting subject to learn.

It's fascinating to think how earlier people used to travel with the help of stars and sun only. 

As there were no radar and maps available.

Stars are really good way to navigate if you know which star rise and sets in that specific area.

And from clouds we can get early warning of weather forecast. There are mainly 13-14 types of clouds and each cloud represents some weather pattern. 

In village people still knows name of 27 nakshatras and each nakshatras have different functionality .

Our ancestors were magical and we are relying on technology which can't accurately gives proper direction .

Sad to see our tradition things are getting extinct day by day.
