I had auto pay facility availed for a service on my kotak credit card and i forgot to cancel it before the first debit, now the money has been deducted, it's not a big amount around 120rs, is there anyway to reverse this transaction or anything? As it's a credit card transaction so it gets settled later, but i don't think much can be done now, anyways do share. Also let me know if anyone of u has gone through same joy

Well this is the trap of subscription services sadly

hmm always make a reminder on your calendar 2 days before expiry date then you could avoid this in future

@my_trendytips_IG @DEEPANGEORGE @Adamantium i got the refund in my statement of this month despite availing the services, i raised the dispute to Kotak and they resolved it, in previous month's statement i had to pay the amount but in this month's statement they have credited the amount back

Yeah, have always done that or immediately cancelled after activating autopay, but was bit busy this week so missed the sms of pre debit, but thankfully it's a small amount so okay with this lesson, could have been much worse

Probably not possible anymore since it's for a service availed rather than towards paying an individual. Next time make sure you keep auto-pay active only for those services that you use regularly. For experiential services (subscription based) which you just want to try remove auto-pay immediately after subscribing. Never wait thinking will remove it before expiry when they send a reminder.

Hi bro, i received the statement for the cc today, it the due amount does include this transaction, but in statement there's another transaction with same amount showing as transaction id and "dispute" writer against it, in my kotak app when i m checking transaction history it is showing the dispute transaction as a credit transaction from the bank side but the due amount yet has included the transaction. Any idea what does it mean?
