Lume is a short term for the luminous phosphorescent glowing solution applied on watch dials. There are some people who "relume" watches, or replace faded lume. Formerly, lume consisted mostly of radium; however, radium is radioactive and has been mostly replaced on new watches by less bright, but less toxic compounds.
Even under Rs.10k-20k, I doubt any brand will provide 2-3hrs of lume. It's more of flagship feature. ( I could be wrong, Even upto 500$ watch lume are not great for the price)
The watch you bought is of 1k-1.5k right? MTP series are ok for the price but it's made of brass case . Better to buy Casio Edifice series for stainless steel case. Some also have sapphire crystal. You'll find deals if you keep an eye out. ✌🏻
I was not aware of that... it's ion plated though and the dial looks beautiful.. my only complain is the strap, though it's color matches with the dial numerics but it looks really cheap... can you please suggest some strap?
for 800 rupees not much complaint other than lume and strap, but it seems even Casio higher models have weak lumes as per reviews
Timex Indiglo lights up the dial at press of button for seeing in dark environment. But for Lume, I don't think there's anything to fit in your budget.
@AzharKhan1 -- I wont buy a watch just for the lume however शौक बड़ी चीज़ है 😊
Visit Timex Shop, check out Expedition collection. I'm not sure about your wrist size, so better check out in person.
