Amazon sevice center replacement (doubt)

Im planning on buying some earbuds from amazon. it is showing as 7 days of service center replacement (Incase of return/exchange) but my problem is incase if the piece delivered by Amazon is old stock. how do i deal with it in such a case coz service center wont entertain replacing old stock with new one .

Warranty will be applicable from the date of invoice irrespective of mfg date
