Amazon restricted my account.

I received an email from [email protected] for my main account. How will it impact me? Will Amazon block accounts of my family member? I recently asked for two refunds:
1. Spoiled vegetables from Amazon Fresh.
2. Nebulizer mask that didn't work with Omron machine. Multiple guys said the same in recent reviews.

I am a heavy shopper and have nearly 250 order every year and spend of nearly 2 lakhs.

We previously contacted you about multiple violations of our returns and refund policy. Since then, we have continued to notice violations of such policies on your account. We are writing to let you know that we have restricted your account to digital purchases only. We will automatically cancel all non-digital orders placed on Amazon.in.


Note that your seller account is not impacted with this change.

If you would like to appeal this decision, please reply to this email to reach an account specialist. Our customer service team can only confirm that we sent this message and help you with technical issues. They cannot reverse this decision or provide you with more details on this matter.

ps : the chances of removing restrictions seems low, they don’t restrict that easily.

No. They contacted me for bad vegetables but that was to either replace / refund.

they literally contacted you multiple times previsouly  about such refund and you did it anyway. when they see customer who is looting them instead of them looting you they will block you and dont want to do business with you cause there is more profit for you than profit for them it seems

pS : im not saying u did something wrong. its just what amazon said in that email

They contacted me once in Sept 2021 and that was resolved. I had placed some seeds and gardening tools for 90% off, it was posted on desidime. They cancelled all 35+ orders and sent me this email. I think there is something wrong with their algo.

They won't be blocking your family member accounts. Try Sending one extended mail with all the proofs + reasons for your returns/replacements (It got to be convincing) and hope for the best (Worked for me .. even though its a pre-communication ). You should've done it when they contacted you for the first time*

You can also mail bezos/ecr if you think all your returns are genuine ( Amazon is back to its original abuse policy now [even worse].. blocking accounts for even 2/3 returns )

Delete the current account... Create a new account with same mobile number.... And different email... I have been blocked 3 times.... Still shopping from amazon....

So it is best to wait till the amazon refund directly on non fulfilled third party seller items. I got into a few situations where the seller request me to cancel the order because they can’t give me the item at the purchased price

Best is don't involve your primary account in loots and deal which may get cancelled later on. Also with each coming day, these Ecom are becoming strict with their policies. So we need to extra careful if using multiple accounts.

Apay CC is forever linked to accounts (the account through which you applied for the card). You can contact ICICI and get the registered mobile number changed but you will continue to receive cashback in the original amazon account

These days Amazon cancel 99% of the loots. It's purely time waste. Most importantly don't ever consider ordering loots from main account as often during loots we buy multiple quantities and Amazon cancels it after shipping and treats it as a return which affects our account.

In last 4-5 months I haven't ordered a single item from Amazon I have even not renewed my prime membership (happened for the first time was a regular subscriber since the day it was launched)

I had to return 2-3 orders within last 5-6 months but all the returns were genuine as they either sent wrong products or they send completely shattered induction cookware set 2 times even after replacing it...What I as a customer is supposed to do? Keep the wrong & damaged products losing my money??

Amazon themselves scamming customers by sending wrong/missing/damaged items with the help from their warehouse & delivery guys & when the customers trying to return multiple items in a short period, they are then sending these warning emails to the customers like the customers are doing time-pass with Amazon by asking for refund/replacements for damaged/wrong/missing items...

And I have ONLY 1 account & never did any looting on Amazon...Just normal purchases for myself & family...

I suspect your acc became collateral damage because of other acc abusers in your area. This is just how AI/automated systems work currently.

P.S. Is your home address an independent house wholly belonging to you/your family or is it some sort of shared building(but not a multi-floor tower in a gated society) with different families on each floor which is common in your locality?

I m 5 year old customer. I have almost more than 2 lakh per year buying customer also pay latter my limit 40k but recently my account Block why I can't understand. I have seriously issues last purchase. But not any resolve my issue and block my account. Account are not block but I have not buying ofm side are all my order are cancelled. Pleaae rework my account. I m an old more than 5 Years customer. I m happy customer for Amazon.
