Amazon refund issue

I had ordered a product using a debit card and later cancelled it before shipping on Sunday on 26/05/24. T+7 days have been done, not received refund yet despite contacting customer care. They r not even providing refund reference number to contact the bank. Now, can I demand them rs100 extra each day?

what is the context of asking 100rs/day ? do they have policy or anything written ?

Some RBI guidelines r there right, regarding refund. Within the stipulated time refund should be credited, nothing like that?

just go in live chat 24/7 in amazon portal, they will quickly solve it i think

Complaint to consumer forum and tell them everything. They must provide.

@kirankiran10333 - Surprise to see this from Amazon. Just try this, contact customer care, request to talk to manager. They will offer callback saying managers are not available or are busy. DO NOT settle on callback. Tell them that you will be on call until they transfer you to the manager. Call it out while on phone that 'Not to disconnect the call'. This should help settle the dispute. 

Make it clear that all you want is bank transaction id for refund.
