Amazon Open Box Delivery

Recently I ordered a refriedgatror for my friend who lives in my neighbourhood which cost approx 30K after all the discount and card offers.

One-line story - Amazon has recently started open-box delivery similar to what Flipkart has been doing.

Eloabratored stories  -  Yesterday morning it showed out for delivery and within a few minutes I got a call (as it was booked from my account) from the Delivery guy regarding confirmation if I am available at my address. And after about 30 mins the delivery guy reached the given address and asked where to keep the box. My friend told me to take it on the first floor. They agreed and took it without much of questions. After reached the first floor, they first opened the box and asked us to check and let us know if everything was excellent as per the product ordered. We both checked every corner carefully for dents and scratches. Also checked the inside boxes and features. Once we were done with the inspection, they asked for OTP and the order was marked delivered. 

The delivery guy also informed us that open-box Delivery has been recently introduced for large products and it will expand to other categories too. 

Later that evening got a call from an LG service man to install the fridge. He came after 1 hour and everything was done within like 15 mins.

So, yes from ordering to delivery of the product. And installation was all smooth. And the product is working as of now.
