Amazon facing issues-Customers getting delivered msg without item reaching them

I have been informed by at least 4 of my acquaintance that their products that they ordered past midnight on Amazon today are showing delivered without OTP whereas item has not reached them. One of them got a confirmation from amazon CC that amazon is getting many such complaints and they are flooded with same. Looks like Amazon goofed up and many customers will not get the product but will get refund hence they would lose out on the sale price deal..
