Amazon - difference amount refund as order is not delivered

24998 - 9700( 4700 for exchange + 5k exchange bonus)
Effective - 15298 rs( if complete exchange is given )
The phone is not delivered even after a week and it customer service suggested me to re order the same.
They sent an email confirming that if there is a difference in amount while reordering, they will refund.
Now my question,
Currently same phone has 3k coupon but no exchange bonus.
List price is same 24998 rs
21998 -3000 coupon -4700 exchange of old.
If i order now, amazon will refund 5000 exchange bonus or just 2000.
Also, if exchange amount for phone is reduced, how they will consider that?
Like instead of 4700, old phone got exchanged for 2700.what would they consider.
Any idea or anyone received refund like this? Any scope for negotiation with amazon later?

From your details difference is now only 1000 rs so amazon will refund the difference amount only. Old amount paid - current amount paid .
bro dont trust amazon , they lied to me also 2 times, recently i placed the order of samsung m35 during earlier sale of previous months but unfortunately the courier boy cancelled the ordered without contacting me so amazon send me also 2 mail that they will refund me the amount if i got now the phone in higher price but when i got the product it was 500 approx cost me costly and amazon after return period refused to give me refund, i contacted alot of time but they refused, and this same thing happens with me previous year sale also.
Customer service confirmed again that they will refund after return window over an email again

Amazon settles with (currently one year validity) gift card that will be directly added to the same account.
Token of Apology ('concession') will be (X-Y) if ₹X is greater than ₹Y.
If there is a difference between Invoiced amount/billed amount and the actual amount paid (due to the exchanged item)
then too (I think) the technical way is to treat the exchange as a different sale.. UNLESS the invoice reflects the exchange value and reduces it from the taxed/billed price.

Yes, the Executive Customer Relations and other teams are allowed to negotiate with (bargain with) buyers.
So that option IS there. However they too are limited by the approvals they get from their internal teams and their own (personal) willingness to empathise with the specific case or the specific account.

My order of honor 200 also got cancelled, I received full refund
