They should have restricted the category spend if it meant to stop the usage of commercial activity. They give you a credit limit, and the card holder spend depending upon his requirement, you can’t tell him that it is for his strict personal use. You already set his borrowing limit. Why should you bother whether it is his personal spend or community spend or commercial spend. Set the limit, get your credit cleared in allowable time.
But people are using it like 10xlimit, say for card with 3lacs limit few are spending 30 lacs per month by paying in advance!
That is quite unreasonable, may be they should develop mechanism to prevent misuse rather than holding or blocking card/rewards
They should limit the reward to the card limit just like indusind.
why these crooks are too greedy in overspending anything… 
normal customers are always in bad shape due to these ‘unethical looters’
I didn’t invite anyone to comment on my “blabbering your unconventional thoughts”. Personal and commercial activity is depending on the person. Moreover, I am not the affected party. If I buy an item from any trader, in any format, or pay for services, it is commercial. The question now comes about the bulk/amount/value. I am not having credit card for doing charity/donations. The arguments are very subjective. If someone find it objective, treat the matter closed. Period.
You had commented on an uninvited thread. So am I. And all these are just opinions which should be considered based on how one wants it. Eventually the tnc or the legalities will win over. We are not clear on the user’s card activity, merely assuming things based on what we see. But if this kind of topic comes on this portal, 99.9% of the cases, it is used for commercial purpose which is against the agreement between card holder and card provider.
There may be cards for business purposes with reduced or nil rewards, which I’m not aware. Certainly we are not talking about them.

If we buy amazon gv using icici amazon pay card .how much cashback we get
5% if card linked amazon acc is prime but misuse it & high chances of card cancellation.

Anything upto your credit limit is good… nothing to worry
