At least six Amarnath Yatra pilgrims were killed and four other injured in a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday, NDTV reported. The Indian Express could not confirm the death toll. The terrorists also attacked a police party in Bantigoo area beside targeting a bus carrying the pilgrims.
The attack took place hours after the Jammu and Kashmir Police claimed to have busted a Lashkar-e-Taiba module with the arrests of two persons, including Sandeep Kumar Sharma alias Adil, a resident of Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.

53 terrorists killed in 46 days and you are calling Indian Army inefficient ? One can’t place soldier/ policeman on every 100 meters of the road and the terrorist have come to die only..they decide the time and place of their liking to attack and the Kashmiri locals help them to hide and sit in their houses and shops…it is very easy to blame when one is not on ground and typing things from an air conditioned room..

my sis n jiju went with Yatris today morning. They cannot take phones with them. Hope they will be fine. I am tensed and praying.

Our Indian army is weak and they are the first we should be blaming. 12 days back we got Intel reports as well info from arrested terrorists that they are planning to attack Amarnath Yatris. They gave us too much info to act and defend. Now people will come out and blame Modi and BJP but they will never raise a single finger on our beloved inefficient Indian army. How come some1 cross border and cut a soldier’s head and take it back away and that also again and again?
