All details you need to know about "UPI NEPAL" | NEPAL Banks partnership| Launch Date:
"UPI NEPAL" is Planning to launch by end of this year 2022.
"UPI NEPAL" is owned by Payment Nepal (Gateway Payment Service Pvt. Ltd, a Payment System Operator licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank).
NPCI International Payments Limited (NIPL), the International arm of National Payments Corporation of India has joined hands with Gateway Payments Service Pvt Ltd, authorized Payment System Operators in Nepal, and Manam Infotech Private Limited to deploy Unified Payments Interface(UPI) in Nepal.
Note - "UPI NEPAL" is not only for Indian visitors in Nepal, "UPI Nepal" is also for the citizens of Nepal. Citizens of Nepal will use "UPI Nepal" in their daily life.
SCT -
Today, 18th September, 2022 - SmartChoice Technologies Limited-SCT for the interoperable QR payment between SmartQR and UPI NEPAL QR.
Just like we have here Bharat QR in India, Nepal also have SmartQR, Nepal QR. "UPI NEPAL QR" will merge with Nepal's SmartQR to support UPI QR payment in Nepal.
SCT is also Nepal's domestic payment card network, Just like we have RuPay card in India.

Edited - by the way I don't think we should do this kind of nonsense, Nepali people also use internet and this will give wrong impression on UPI Nepal. This type of scam is normal thing, happens everywhere US, UK, Europe, Brazil, Bangladesh, Thailand, Indonesia etc (I deeply researched on this countries, what's why i told).
