Recently airtel advertising free spam blocking for its users without any application.

Airtel's spam blocking is so accurate.
A dimer, who is very active here in DD, Called me and Airtel's spam blocking feature showed me his number as Spam.
When I asked customer support about it... they told me that, this person is spamming an online forum and hence their AI picks his number as spam.

so how does this airtel spam blocking works??? i mean where and how? how they do this technically for an end user?

similar to their missed call app alert xD i guess
in past i used their missed called alert WHEN IT WAS PURE SMS ORIENTED but now they are making it mandatory to use their app in mobile to get this missed call alerts (which is the moment i quit that missed called alert since i dont want to give access to my contact to airtel app)
I have good experience with this feature.
Automatically enabled.
For calls : it shows "suspected spam" before unknown number. Nd 99 % of times, this is true.
For Sms: it shows "suspected spam" in SMS's which contain link or call back at different number request.
This is SIM based or Airtel App (can be used by non-airtel customers)?
