Airtel Fiber Billing Issue: Incorrect Charges and Service Disruption

I hope you are all well. I am facing a significant issue with my Airtel fiber connection and could really use some advice.
Recently, my Airtel fiber connection was abruptly stopped due to an unbilled amount. The reason I haven't paid the bill is because Airtel incorrectly added charges to my account. For instance, they billed me for a 1Gbps plan which I did not request or authorize. Moreover, my internet was non-functional for 21 days last month, which should rightly affect my bill.
My monthly plan is Rs. 999, and according to my calculations, the final bill should not exceed Rs. 400 after adjusting for the service disruption and incorrect charges.
I have already escalated this issue multiple times with Airtel's customer service, and while their escalation team acknowledged the incorrect charges, they claim they are unable to rectify the bill or remove the erroneous components. As a result, they are insisting I pay Rs. 4541, which is clearly unfair and not reflective of the service I have received.
I am at a loss for what to do next. Has anyone faced a similar situation with Airtel or another provider? Could someone please suggest how I can effectively resolve this issue and ensure that I am billed correctly?
Any guidance or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, in the morning I had a call with customer care and they said they can only provide 300Rs waiver. Worst service from Airtel. They don't have any evidence that I requested to enable 1Gbps speed booster and worst thing is that I am not getting benefit of that... I am still getting 200Mbps speed only. In my society they have provided NOC for Airtel only so I don't have any other option as well.
Stop using that account fight as long as u can try twitter, try jio fiber new connection else take new Airtel fiber new connection on a different number
Yeah I am getting 5-6 calls on daily basis from their billing/ collection team. I already told them that I am not going to pay single rupee. Due to society politics I don't have any other option so may be I will take new Airtel connection on diff name/number.

Hire an advocate and lodge the matter into the consumer court as per your area jurisdiction...it will take a month or two and a only way to resolve this matter completely.
Either will play tweet tweet and harrasment from Airtel.... Then after some time they will send you a legal notice to pay the charges or they will move to civil court ....
Better to lodge the complaint/case to consumer court and claim the lack of services and dissatisfaction over the response from the internet service provider...also alleging hefty charges inspite of complaint lodged to customer care...

Complain on pgportal.gov.in and write all your issues. It's the effective way to resolve issues unless you want to fight court case.

Edit : Are you from Pune by any chance? I have been hearing bad reviews for Airtel Fiber. Mine is OK though.

Have you tried nodal authority?
I have been a long user of airtel postpaid and fiber. Whenever there was a problem, nodal office was able to resolve.
Otherwise consumer forum is the next step

They have generated bill of 5.5k this time.
