Hello Dimers,
Earlier I used to recharge airtel 1799(now 1999) for 365 days and addon data pack 50G for 361/ with same validity as base pack. This used to serve well as I don't use much of mobile data unless travelling. Now Airtel has reduced max validity of all useful addon packs to 30 days, Jio has existing validity packs as on Oct 29, but all my family uses single airtel line and have stacked reacharge till 2025 end. Seems like I have no options left but recharge more 😭

Airtel too had it, 10 days back. Earlier, Jio had limited validity, now airtel does the same.

I believe if you have recharged with a pack, the plan stays the same this change affects new recharges, so if you have already queued it won't change

I had not recarged multiple addon packs, as I used to do whenever data went below 10G. Now when I checked to recharge again, plan has changed!!

Did telecom has the ability to change the plan anytime without giving any information to users?

They can, my frustration is that, it is going to cost almost double for me from now on 😠
