AirAsia flight postponed by 2 hrs 40 min on Diwali.. Need suggestions

Booked flight almost a month back and now it's postponed.. Earlier it was 6-8:40 pm on Diwali.. Expected to reach home by 9:15.. But now it's reschedule to 8:40 pm to 11:25..
Cc said that since change in time is less than 3 hours, they will not do anything, full cancellation charges applied..
Can something be done to reschedule or cancel without huge charges? TIA

Not allowed for reschedule as flight was rescheduled less than 3 hours... Tried the bot and showing full reschedule charges

Air asia usually reschedules their flight on 31st/1st of everymonth for selected routes. Other than that, they also usually allow 1 free reschedule within a week but all of those will have same timings as well. See if you have that option
