Waiting for someone with logic, that due to inreased gas price people will decrease Gas wastage and food wastage.😂
Whether price increases or decreases, one should have respect towards the resources. And yes people will have extra sense of responsibility whenever there is a cost factor to it. Be it gas, electricity, gold, whatever. It’s no brainer
@andromeda vro actually natural gas rate is increased by 62% so even electricity price hike and cng price hike png and transport price hike will be there . So it will burn our pockets directly or indirectly
Copying a few excerpts from the link you shared
This is the first increase in rates since April 2019 and comes on back of firming benchmark international prices but does not reflect the spurt in spot or current price of liquefied natural gas (LNG) witnessed during the last couple of weeks.
The increase in gas price is likely to result in a 10-11 per cent rise in CNG and piped cooking gas rates in cities such as Delhi and Mumbai, industry sources said.
It will also lead a rise in cost of generating electricity but consumers may not feel any major pinch as the share of power produced from gas is very low.
Similarly, the cost of producing fertiliser will also go up but as the government subsidises the crop nutrient, an increase in rates is unlikely.
And if there are any more political angles to it, please retire (do not tag me) them. I’m not an expert in this, so my comments/views looks skewed.

In Selaiyur, methane from sewage becomes cooking gas
Source: https://www.thehindu.com/news/cities/chennai/in... The news dates back to 2013. So, gutter gas as a possible fuel is practically feasible.
It’s not safe there can be blast if used at high temps it’s methane mostly
Nice fun reading good discussion, could not understand what exactly is increased 62% or end user effect. ignorance is bliss
1. “62% hike in the price of natural gas used to make electricity, fertilisers, CNG, cooking gas.”
2. Expect around “10-11% hike in the final CNG and cooking gas rates.”
Preventing ignorance requires just one click on the link to read the news.
mitron aaj raat barah baje se…….
loot lo…..
I referred to a third person, neither you nor me, and my comment is purely in lines of responsibility. Likewise you are also referring to a set of people who become responsible when there is a cost factor associated. Yes, there exists such people.
Brother, in a country where 80 crore are feeding on free Anaj, do you think they have money enough to waste the resources.
In reality, more people will be unable to buy LPG and shift towards tranditional wood burning Chulha. Do you agree this point?
Instead of giving them sympathy and supporting them, please dont give them hopeless ideas like not to waste resources.
