After market shark fin antenna for car s

I replaced my regular antenna with sharkfin antenna and found that AM/FM reception has become bad after replacement. Is it the sharkfin antenna issue? Any good after market sharkfin that does am/fm signal good. Otherwise I had to replace with the old whip model only.

Pls suggest

Aftermarket accessories are mostly junk but sometimes work. Use internet based fm services instead.
