Advanced tax payment failed with "Incorrect details from Bank" status but amount debited from CC

I was paying advanced tax on 21st Mar with Canara Bank gateway and using AU bank CC, but while doing so the payment page showed an error.
Upon refreshing the payment page showed up fine, did the payment using AU bank CC and redirected back to https://eportal.incometax.g...n/ and got an error as "Incorrect details from Bank".
Later I got to know that the tax portal doesn't allow payment against a failed CRN, and it seems when I first saw the error on payment page, it might have considered that as failed transaction, so even thought upon refreshing my payment went through, the tax portal didn't accept it against that same CRN.

7. Can I make payment with the same CRN if the tax payment has failed?
No. You cannot re-initiate payment against a failed transaction. If the amount is debited, kindly contact the bank. Kindly create a new challan by using the copy facility or by clicking New Payment.
Has anyone experience with it? How will the refund be processed here, will it be automatic to my CC or do I need to contact Canara bank?

Received payment success email from tax portal just now, they took around 3 days to process the deducted amount.

i paid on incometax website for linking pan adhaar rs1000 using CC. i received message from the bank but the payment failed saying incorrect payment details. i tried with debit card also and again payment failed. i have waited for 3days but no information about the refund.
i tried every mode, with payment failure and in one mode of credit card money deducted with payment failure after starting from the beginning. i will try to check in 4-5 days if payment for challan was successful or not. incometax website suck very much. sometimes i do not get OTP ,sometimes heads under assessment year does not show up. Sometimes i get CBDT error in payment gateway.
what happens next after receiving this message of "Incorrect payment details form bank"? is the amount credited back to the account or the payment is acknowledged from ITR side after some days?
Advance tax payment can be done with Credit card? surprising to know it allowed you to proceed .. not aware
