Actually reason I need a new phone for my dad as his old nokia phone has stopped functioning properly
I can go upto 15k if it opens range for a plethora of good options like Realme oppo iqoo poco but it should be newly launched 2024 models

You can actually get 5G phones under 8K nowadays but those skimp on the most important feature - RAM.
for under 10K, I would suggest Poco M6 Pro. Looks good, comes from a good brand, is reasonably fast, has Full HD screen, 6GB RAM and ample storage(for your father).
Or if your father can compromise on screen resolution, Moto G45 or Poco M6.
If you can spend a bit more than 10K, then Poco M6 Plus is the best of the three.
I am sure members here can chip in with some more good suggestions.
