this story/ controversy no longer interests me.. AT ALL.
Little children, who are the future of the country, are being served food (mid-day meals) with actual dead animals in them
and they are often forced to eat the chapati/rotis without any other condiment.. or have to eat the dry roti with flavoured water (allegedly referred to as daal, sabji).
Personal beliefs into this prasad or ANY prasad is NOT a 'life and death' necessity.
And i say this with as much responsibility as i can.. that most (if not all) mouths which line up for the prasad or consume it.. are already well fed. Most of such people (more often than not) come from reasonably secure backgrounds.
If the adulteration was not an eye-opener for some till two months back.. it is now.
Everyone from media to social media to politicians to even the members here are in it either for scoring brownie points or furthering their own convoluted perceptions (or as some call it: 'agenda').
Not many people give a rat's arse to the root cause analysis and bring order to the system.
It is just another thing in a series of 'news' (more like tamasha) to be forgotten in no time.
Even those who lost their close ones during the covid-19 pandemic or lost young children to encephalitis.. all due to the corruption in healthcare facilities and criminal mismanagement .. too have put their personal loss.. on the backburner (or have given up).
Tallow, lard, vanspati/ (palm, soya) vegetable oil has and would continue to find its way in the adulteration business.

I am not expecting anyone to spend even a week or fortnight in judicial custody.. and much less.. be actually punished..
