i wanted to move os from hdd to sdd by reinstalling windows, not just by moving it, how would it be possible for me to retain the working licensed win 10 ?
it doesn’t matter. OEM key is not stored in HDD or SSD, it’s in Bios.

why waste time with an half baked os,better to use one of the free linux os with win 7 dual boot for the Windows specific needs.
LTSB/LTSC builds are Enterprise only and come out every couple of years, and are labelled according to year. LTSB 2015 is OS build 10240, later known as 1507. LTSB 2016 is build 1607 and LTSC 2019 is build 1809.
LTSC is basically a version of Windows 10 designed for situations where it cannot receive updates, and isn’t designed for general use. Examples are medical equipments, ATM, plane, billboard, etc. It has no Cortana, no Windows store, no Edge.
It has updates every month, but those are only security updates. LTSC does not get feature updates every 6 months like normal Home or Pro, feature updates come in new versions of LTSC every 3 years.
Great thing is you can directly update to new LTSC version via ISO without losing your data. If you want windows store, there is a script on mydigitallife forums to add it back to LTSC.

It is preactivated. If it doen’t get activated automatically, remember to activate it as unlike normal Windows 10 versions, LTSC will lock you out after 180 days. As for activation – you can activate it with HWIDGEN/KMS38 (activation till 2038).

This is linux os (based on ubuntu). Much secure than windows, free of cost, no adware or anything stupid. Just basic OS for anyone needing day-to-day browsing/media consumption. Simple to eyes, extremely fast, runs on very old hardware, very less memory requirement, almost no learning curve as looks are similar to windows.
Some people are saying the license they got was a MAK one. Do you guys think it’s worth spending if the license is a MAK?

For all those who are looking are looking for cheap option to purchase windows. Here is the link. They are all oem keys as retail key aren’t available for less then 10k anywhere. OEM keys are not bad as well, your windows will activate automatically even if you reinstall OS, activation only fails when there is hardware change such as motherboard. Better to buy from ebay as they give keys within a minute you purchase the item.
