good price.
Is it clearance sale?
Quite likely as the 4th gen. is 4 years old at this point. It's successor delivers even longer battery life and is faster at page turns thanks to a newer SoC on a more modern manufacturing process. Plus the display is much more evenly lit besides being brighter due to many more LEDs in the frontlight.
Good one, it was in my wishlist and now I purchased it.
I used to have a gifted Kindle. Once there was a rush in the local train (Mumbai) and the pressure may have landed on the Kindle's screen in my backpack. Around a quarter of the display stopped working. I loved the Kindle while I had it but I didn't buy another one. The bookwallahs at Flora Fountain near Churchgate / CSMT rent out books for ₹50-150 for as long as you want. I prefer them now.
A protective case might have come in handy. I have carried my PW3 encased in my pretty heavily loaded backpack several times over the last few years with no issues. Although it adds considerable bulk. I don't mind it as use the built-in kickstand to prop up the Kindle in several different ways. I dislike holding it in my hand other than for really short periods. The PW4 and in particular PW5 are practically unrepairable. Even getting to the battery is problematic as it almost certain to destroy the display. Not that Amazon has ever sold replacement batteries for the Kindles. Only saving grace is that the battery usually lasts 5+ years easily.
