Only concern is curved display vulnerability. Will research myself too over the weekend. Please share your inputs too.

Whoever is buying this now must be ignorant of the fact that poco x6 released just now with the same price, 7 gen 2 processor and will get os update until android 17. Honor 90 is old, overrated, and will have just two more os updates. Not to mention the other cutting edge tech that poco carries with it. The only reason you can buy this is the esim which is useful while travelling. But still not enough

Should one go for the White Varient at exact ₹20K??

Or should just skip this phone as of now.

The phone still runs perfectly fine no issues as such even after using it for almost 6 years.

Extremely happy with this device. Bought in first sale itself. No regrets at all. 

Poco have zero resale. Brand is considered poor in general.

New poco devices are defective out of the box, infamous for motherboard issues.

No one in right mind can put poco in the same league as Samsung/honor etc

Honor 90 is a steal deal guys, have this phone when it launched, it was one of the best decisions ever.

Okay having watched many reviews since yesterday night, I think it’s a steal deal barring some omissions which I will get to.

Pros- 

1. Flagship grade quad curved pro 1.5k Amoled display. You won’t find a better display than this under 20k.

2. Processor Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 though based on Samsung 4 nm process is well optimised by Honor and doesn’t throttle. Better than 7s Gen 2 found in Poco X6.

3. The MagicOS is super fluid and probably the best and smoothest animations for a device in it’s segment. MagicOS 8 announced two days back is a stunner and Honor 90 will start getting it in March. The OS has got me totally sold.

4. Camera though lacks OIS is very good and has excellent colour science. The likes of POCO don’t even stand a chance. Same goes for the front 50 MP selfie camera, best in class.

5. 5000 mah battery with good backup (not stellar) but easily one day battery life.

6. Premium looks and ergonomics are amazing. Very light weight, barely 183 gram for a device with 5000 mah battery and glass back (Gupta Information System Channel confirmed back is glass)

7. Can use third party launchers with gesture support such as Nova which Poco doesn’t allow in HyperOS and MIUI.

8. NFC

Cons-

1. Single speaker (no stereo speaker)

2. Android updates until android 15

3. Only 30w charger is being given while this supports 66w charging.

4. Service Centre and after sales(?)

5. Questions about durability considering it has quad curved display for those who drop their phones a lot.

6. No OIS in camera and call recording support in dialer.

If you ask me personally, it’s a steal deal at 20k. If only performance is super important, one may look for Poco F5/ Poco X6 Pro.

Any suggestions for tempered glass for this?

UV tempered glass is almost impossible to remove without damaging the screen.
