Smart marketing or not i dont like it. Its customer preference i like the price of the product reduced immediately ie, instant discount. Making customers repeatedly come to amazon is good if its voluntarily but now i am holding off to buy a phone even though offers are running now bcz of amazon pay balance pending. I will either use it to buy a phone fully from pay balance or just use it to buy some small small things and dont load money in pay balance until its absolute necessity. But like u said it changes from customer to customer. Instant discount is like direct reduction and done with that day itself.

I agree that when there is huge buying of deals \( Price errors/ tricks ) after claiming being rejected by the portals by not able to handle them well , but that doesnt mean the golden eggs are cracked.. if not today , tomorrow some one will crack the egg

deal u posted was not an illegal trick or price error but it was an omission made by the website. A mistake they did. If you show somebody their mistake on the face they will rectify it. You were supposed to just keep it calm about it and use it and not go gaga about it.
