This Offer is valid only on purchase of Amazon Email Gift Cards sold through the Amazon Gift Cards store. The Offer is not valid on gift cards from other brands available on the Gift Cards store.
vi) This Offer will be available only once per customer i.e. only the first time such customer purchases an Amazon Gift Card. This Offer cannot be combined with any other offer of Amazon or promotion running on Amazon.in.
vii) This Offer is being made available purely on a “best effort” basis and your participation in this Offer is voluntary. By availing this Offer, you agree that Amazon Seller Services Private Limited or AODS or any of its affiliates will not be responsible for any loss or damage incurred by you in relation to this Offer.

Just a guess… probably they are treating AMEX as international card and you cant buy amazon.in voucher using international card….
Payment will go thru successfully for all other purchases.

Yup..Even adding to same account immediately should also not cause any problem… but adding later also is fine if that gives higher peace of mind (and that is imp for humans!!)…:)

They do have very BEST tracking (compared to any other) and can find out easily our activities in account/accounts. Simply wanted to say don’t get blocked for saving 100/200.
Hmm…Just a thought:
I bought the GC from my Amazon Prime A/c, and sent to wife..Now – being a family member – she prefers to add it to my Amazon account (bcoz it has Prime free fast shipping and that is our family’s main account with bulk of the APay balance already parked in there)… So I said to her: Its Ok. Amazon has no issue with this even as it helps us plan and do our Amazon family shopping better!!
And now I do it again / more than once…
So now wondering will Amazon treat this as ‘so called suspicious activity’ or not…even if their systems may be programmed internally to highlight cases where a GV purchased from Account1, mailed to Account2, has been finally added in Account1? And does their current T&C allow them to call it ‘Now allowed’

Btw, it is true when you say that they may have great tracking & analysis systems, sharp ppl learning quickly (such learnings reflect in their policies fast?) PLUS customer friendly/liberal CC & policies…
