I got the same msg and still paid 1 rs. then after successful payment (once) it will show to pay again(no code showing). But don't pay again and click back then again click on CLAIM OFFER and you will get code.

I generated code and used on existing account by logout..and placing code in referal or gift..and logged in..worked and got membership..but how to activate new membership which i purchased..still old one is there..
