My father a complete family man. He is a very simple person. Very generous. Always their for his family. He respects his elder cousins the way we respect our real brothers…
Does not indulge in any kind of politics be it at home, or in our society.
Also he is that tough guy who once raises his voice and everyone settles down be his kids, his family, his cousins or anyone in the society, Sometimes in the train also.
He’s my captain America!!
My dad can make the worst biriyani in the world and still call it the best, he hides candy in his sock drawer and sometimes sneaks them in through the window, he picks the silliest tantrums with my mom but once he sees a spider he needs her there for moral support. He calls himself an old fart, well I guess he is right, but the old fart always been my superhero, he taught me to aim for the moon and to land among the stars, he taught me to stand up for myself, thankyou dad for treating mom like a queen and us like princesses.
HanuMan- Better than the rest!
Strong-inside, Wise-outside
He is just a huMan. He has his own flaws, fears, insecurities and weaknesses though he seldom shows them. Every human is a hero to some, a villain to some and indifferent/total strangers to others. He is no different. But when one becomes a parental figure, be it father be it mother, it doesn’t matter, one has a chance to be a hero. I was pondering the way world n karma works couple of days ago. Generally one works hard to gain good karma n usually if one survives till the end one gets some good rewards. But when two humans decide to start a family rewards come first n then comes the lifelong responsibility to support the family. And it’s not an easy task to do. Both fathers and mothers have supported families since ages. And they ll continue to do so for the years to come. There are bad apples everywhere. But most of our fathers are heroes to us, no matter what others think of ‘em. When we were kids we were happy in our little/small/large/larger than life worlds. The children of daily wagers have fun in the mud, sand n bricks, the children of rich people have fun in the luxury. Love matters. Our life cycle is like when we were kids we demanded stuff, when we were young we had this love/hate relationship with our parents for many things e.g. girlfriend/boyfriend/pocket money, when we become of age n most of us start a family, we slowly get distanced from our parents, and the karmic cycle repeats itself. 🙂 Maybe that’s how life works. When we become parents it’s our time to give. People generally understand value of a protective shade over one’s head after it’s too late. Let’s just accept our parents the way they are. And if someone is facing any form of abuse then one has to speak up/take action. Because subjective feelings override the objective observation power. 🙂
Hollow Man – he is invisible since I was 4.
