I had raised a ticket from Uber site and few mails back and forth and then finally today I was able to add the card succesfully. Yet to take a ride to confirm CB.

CB will not credit immediately. Read point 3 in OP.

Saving grace is that SCB did inform about the change.
How it can then be 20% cashback now.
Min spent: 8000
20% of 8000 = 1600
But max cashback is 600

Anybody who availed this offer successfully so far?
The offer is valid for cardholders with total monthly spends of minimum 8,000. I guess they have changed the T & C recently, but didn’t notify the customers about it.
Customers were notified about the change.
