Great deal. From initial analysis, it seems there is no major difference between this model and sony bravia 2 except for the launch year and price.

Yes not many changes btwn those 2 models. Its a good TV. If you have this kind of budget, do also have a look at Panasonic MX750,MX800 series. Those are also vgood especially MX800 series . I have seen MX750 and bravia2 side by side, both are equal. MX800 series is step above with more brighter display...
If you buy from Panasonic from offline store they are giving 3yrs comprehensive warranty, which us a big thing to consider..
