Recently used hdfc smartbuy for an irctc booking through infinia card and no extra charges for using credit card plus got 3x rewards points equal
No SmartBuy charges but Convenience fee(~35) is charged along with the final amount is ~1% higher once the transaction is settled. However 5% cashback is received without issues.
My observation is based on my Regalia First card.
