Discover Cashback Campaign

Offer Construct:

Get a flat 25% cashback (“Promotion”) against all eligible Point-Of-Sale (“POS”) transactions amount, subject to the terms and conditions of this promotion, when you use a Qualified RuPayCard1 to make eligible purchases at the following countries:

• United Arab Emirates
• United States
• United Kingdom
• Canada
• Japan
• Spain
• Switzerland

The maximum cashback amount per one card within the Promotion Period is ₹2500.

The maximum cashback per a transaction is ₹2500.

There is no minimum spend amount for a transaction to receive cashback.

There is no limit on the maximum number of transactions to receive cashback during the promotion period limiting to ₹2500.

Promotion Period:

15^th of May 2024 to 31^st July, 2024 (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”).

Qualified Cards

The Promotion is open to all RuPay Credit and Debit Cards which can be used at merchants accepting cards on either Discover® Network or Diners Club International® Network (“Qualified RuPay Global Cards”). RuPay Credit and Debit cardholders should inquire and confirm with its issuers if their cards are eligible or this promotion.

Terms and Conditions:

• The Promotion Period for the campaign will be from 15th May 2024 (00:00:00 (IST)) – 31st July 2024 (11:59:59 (IST)). Only POS transactions from merchants in the above countries posted within the Promotion Period will be eligible for the promotion.
• Cashback to be calculated on all POS transactions initiated by Qualified RuPay Global Cards at merchants in United Arab Emirates, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, Spain and Switzerland, post accounting for any cancellation or reversals.
• Customer will be eligible for a max cashback of INR 2500 per card during the Promotion Period. The max cashback a single transaction is eligible for is INR 2500.
• Cashback will be credited to the eligible customer’s account by the customers’ RuPay Global card Issuing Bank within 60 working days from the settlement of the eligible transaction.
• The following transactions are excluded from the Promotion:
  • Online transactions.
  • Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) transactions.
  • Transactions for Gift cards.
  • ATM transactions.
  • E-Wallet transactions.
• National Payment Corporation of India (“NPCI”) reserves the right to disqualify the customer(s) from the benefits of the Promotion if any fraudulent activity is identified as being carried out for the purpose of availing the benefits under the said Promotion.
• NPCI reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part, this Promotion by another offer, whether similar to this Promotion or not, or to extend or withdraw it altogether.
• By participation in this Promotion, you hereby agree that NPCI, DFS Services LLC and Diners Club International Ltd., or/and participating banks will not be held liable or responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever incurred by you in connection with the Promotion.
• NPCI or participating banks do not guarantee and make any representation about the usefulness, worthiness and/or character of the discount / benefit or of the products under the Promotion.
• Any person participating in this Promotion shall be deemed to have accepted these Promotion terms and conditions.
• The Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other ongoing promotional offers of RuPay. Transactions that were already used for other RuPay promotion can no longer be used to avail of the Promotion and vice versa. NPCI reserves the sole right to decide if a transaction is eligible for the Promotion. NPCI shall have the right to reserve or adjust the rebate credited to cardholder’s Qualified RuPay Global Card, at NPCI’s sole discretion.
• This Promotion is offered and administered by NPCI. Participating NPCI Member issuers will handle all the RuPay Global Cardholder’s questions, claims, complains and requests pertaining to this Campaign.
• This Promotion applies exclusively to Qualified RuPay Global cardholders only.
