Reliance Revolutionizes Affordable Connectivity with Jio Bharat Phones at ₹999, Beta Trials Commencing July 7
In a bid to bridge the digital divide and empower millions of feature phone users, Reliance Jio is set to revolutionize the market with its groundbreaking Jio Bharat phones. With the advent of the 5G era, Reliance Jio is bolstering its efforts to introduce internet-enabled devices at an incredibly affordable price point of just ₹999. The brainchild of visionary entrepreneur Mukesh Ambani, the company aims to provide seamless connectivity to 250 million feature phone users through the beta testing phase, which is scheduled to commence on July 7.

The Jio Bharat phones are poised to transform the telecommunications landscape by equipping a substantial portion of the population with affordable internet-enabled devices. These low-budget devices are not only cost-effective but also offer two attractively priced calling and data plans, further enhancing their appeal. According to the latest updates shared by Reliance, the monthly plan associated with the Jio Bharat phones is an astounding 30% cheaper than comparable offerings from other operators, while simultaneously providing users with seven times more data.
To put it into perspective, the company stated,"For just ₹123 per month, users can enjoy unlimited voice calls and a generous 14 GB data allowance, in stark contrast to other operators' ₹179 plan, which merely offers voice calls and a meager 2 GB of data."
Recent reports from industry analysts have also indicated that Reliance Jio is at the forefront of the 5G revolution in India, with Bharti Airtel trailing behind in a somewhat distant second place. A comprehensive report by JP Morgan highlighted the discrepancy, noting that Bharti Airtel is lagging behind Reliance Jio across various metrics and circles. The report suggests a relatively modest pace of roll-outs across 21 circles for Bharti Airtel, which could potentially expose them to higher capital expenditure risks and market share losses if they fail to catch up with their competitor.
With the imminent launch of the Jio Bharat phones, Reliance Jio is reinforcing its commitment to digital inclusion and affordable connectivity. By combining cutting-edge technology with an irresistible price point, the company is set to transform the lives of millions by connecting them to the vast opportunities offered by the digital world. As the beta testing phase kicks off on July 7, anticipation and excitement continue to build around these game-changing devices that will usher in a new era of connectivity for the masses.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is still afflicted with all the drawbacks of the first Jiophone namely poor keypad, basic apps like Contacts and Messages hanging and/or slow to respond, the device hanging in general, no hotspot and no provision to use a ported no.

Mobile Brand is Karbonn .
Expected Review for Malfunction keypad 100 % , with that said its useless .
Its Good Jio is working on joining the economical users in its network for them to help experience the new technology in some manner, but cheap / inferior and little use malfunctioning handsets defys the purpose.
Whether handset mobiles or Laptops ,they are pricing it for the interior level user reach , good , but product quality atleast must be usable.
I am happy with my 2.3K itel magic2 Dual 4G keypad mobile with hotspot
How is the battery backup with or without hotspot? Nd what is the top speed u got on hotspot?
jiophone recharges will be supported on this device?
Jio has mastered the art of assembling the lowest-end hardware across their offerings. Absolutely nothing you get is usable.
