I had a very bad experience with buying refurbished cpu from Amazon. The item came dead on arrival and I had a hard time returning the same as they don't take back the item straight away. First they schedule an executive who doesn't show up - but the inspection is done by the executive and he certifies that the item is in proper working condition.
Then you have to call the Amazon customer service and explain to them that no one showed up and - they don't believe you in the first instance, they transfer your call to a technical customer care department who after several rounds of backend verification ask you to wait for 48 hours.
After 48 hours you call again and then they arrange for a pickup and you would think your head ache is over now.
But no - next day the pickup guy comes and tries to match the serial number only to see that there is no such thing on your cpu. You again call customer care explain to them the whole story again and then they say but sir your return
Window is over and then you have to explain to them that the return request was given more than a week ago. And they again transfer your call to some senior executive who finally agrees to initiate a pickup sans serial no. Verification.
You remain on the edge for the whole week until the item is finally picked up for good and a refund confirmation is received from Amazon.
If Amazon's return policy on a refurbished cpu is like this, I can't imagine how hard it would be for a Flipkart user.
That's an eye opener review
Why putting such outdated and overpriced product?
