What is the new merchant loyalty program?

Paytm has introduced a new loyalty program “Paytm Merchant First Points” where all merchant partners will be eligible to earn unlimited reward points for accepting payments from Paytm wallet and all UPI based payment apps through the Paytm All-In-One QR code. The collected points can be redeemed for vouchers like recharge, utility payments instantly or for purchasing exciting merchandise from the Paytm for Business app, such as sound-box, EDC etc.

How can a merchant join the Paytm Merchant First Points program?

All merchants accepting payments through Wallet and UPI are automatically enrolled in the program. There is no limit on the points that can be earned through the program. Merchants can view and redeem the earned points through the Paytm for Business app.

How does a merchant earn Paytm Merchant First Points?

A merchant automatically earns points for Payments accepted. Accept more payments and earn more points – it’s that simple.

A Merchant gets 6 points for every ₹100 accepted through Paytm Wallet and gets 1 point for every ₹100 accepted through UPI

How can a merchant redeem the Paytm Merchant First Points?

Quite simple. A merchant will be able to redeem points on the redemption section on the Paytm for Business App. One can select from a vast range of options available, like recharge, utility bill vouchers or purchase exciting Paytm merchandise. The redemption section will soon be available on the business app.

Is there a limit to the number of Merchant First Points a merchant can earn?

No. A merchant can earn as much as he can!

Do Paytm Merchant First Points expire?

The earned points are valid for a period of one year.
