Much higher price point in all likelihood, Rs 25k and higher. If the Oppo and/or Vivo Pads are released at decent prices maybe that will force Xiaomi to either cut the price of Pad 5 or release the Pro version. Oneplus Pad seems likely as well though just 1080p PenTile OLED over 11" is not ideal.
I got it for 10,349. Product page was showing 11,499 and then 10% ICICI discount. Is it good price? Will be used ONLY for reading online non-English magazines by my elderly Mom (it doesn’t have Super AMOLED display which I prefer).
Have pulled the trigger first /ordered and now have to decide whether to keep or cancel.

It’s not a particularly good product but other than the Realme Pad which costs a bit more or some Lenovo tab or the other there’s nothing even semi-decent in this price range. Xiaomi Pad 5 releasing on the 27th is likely to be priced at least double but good VFM.
More than 2 years ago Redmi India had confirmed that were looking to venture into the tablet market but nothing so far.

Does Realme Pad screen have a higher resolution than this?
I checked the processor of this vs other low budget p22, its slower than even that p22, so i would advise against it, unless to be used by kids or elders with limited apps etc. I would say go for minimum realme tab in 12.5k range whenever it is on discount
Another good replacement for these budget tabs are chromebook, right now on flipkart there is one lenovo chromebook at almost 13k after discount, which is a good deal and better device for kids online classes etc.
How is this slower than p22? I thought Unisoc Tiger T618 have better benchmark scores compared to p22.
