Good offer, but this stupid point:
The benefit start date is 1st August 2021. hence the spending will be calculated from 01st Augustly 2021 till the end of the Cardmembership year.
For example, if your card was issued on 22nd December 2019, then the Cardmembership year is calculated from 22nd December to 21st December of subsequent year. As per this new benefit, the Cardmember will have to do cumulative spends of Rs 1.20 lacs or Rs 1.80 lacs or Rs 2.40 lacs between benefit start date i.e. 01st August 2021 to 21st December 2021 to get an Amazon Voucher worth Rs 500. Subsequently spend cycle will reset with the Card renewal and new spend calculation will start from 22nd December to 21st December of subsequent year.

Beyond 10X and 5X partners, and even those with stingy caps, SmartEarn is not a very rewarding card. 1.2 L for just 500 will be a stretch on this. No point in talking about the higher thresholds.
