It seems the SoC has been updated. Qualcomm 210 (not considering the Spreadtrum one) in the original Jiophone was based on the ancient 32-bit Cortex A7 whereas the 64-bit A53 is a distinct upgrade even if it's 11 years old. No matter I fully expect this device to be as poor as the original one if indeed it's actually a "new" device rather than a listing error.

I am purely talking from technology front and how a revolutionary (atleast 4th estate is writing this time and again) telecom technocrat play a "pull-a-rope" with feeble tech at one end and strong technocrats at the other.
Pretty expensive for a burner phone usage type too. 
Either you are phoren returned or watch too many thriller series.
There is no word as Burner in Indian dictionary. We reuse everything till it can no longer be used and then reuse it again.
Gotta give props to Mukesh bhai, now we can hide our phone as a magsafe powerbank to record secret 0.3 mega pixel High Definition movies in restricted zones.
Congratulations! It takes time and effort to visit technocraft pieces. Wizards get a chance to click photos as well. Heard flipper zero also cannot hack this piece. Well crafted.

I SALUTE THE ALERTNESS OF THE STAFF WHO PLUGGED HIFI SECURITY ALARM TO THE MASTER-PIECE ( dont bring alarm costing more than master-piece to fore-front ). OTHERWISE WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE TASK TO SECURE. IT MUST BE HAPPY THAT ITS NOW IN SAFE HANDS

My opinion
If this phone comes with a hotspot, then it is a great choice for those who use 2+ phones. The addition of 512mb of RAM and an 1800mAh battery is advantage If 123 recharge works, then it will be great beneficial for users
2599 is a bit high now; it would be great if the price was 2000 or less. Anyway, the price will decrease as time passes.
Those who are trolling jio the Nokia would have charged 5,000+ for the same features. I saw some of their phones still selling 2G phones for 3000+.
Wondering if Youtube works with 512 MB RAM, if it does, how is the video play quality? And why would anyone prefer this phone to watch Youtube videos on this device (with small screen). WhatsApp (Texting) still makes sense.
