Actually it's applicable on all products where citi bank 10% Discount is available.
Basically it's bug for citi bank users where they will get 20% discount instead of 10%.

20% correction for gold might be not possible, whatever scenario it might be.
1. Bull scenario --> gold council would not let it come down. Also all the central banks hold gold, so they would lose value.
Also bull scenario always has higher inflation, India being net importer and also if wanta to export would keep the rupee value depreciating. So gold would not gain any value against currency.
2. Bear scenario --> no explanation needed, if it happens everyone wants safe heaven for money so money moves from stocks to bonds and liquid assets like gold.
3. Import duty(12%)+GST (3%)waive of by Indian government --> which is highly unlikely.
I am buying for long term, buying and selling physical gold for short term might have downside of GST and sometimes the retailers ask for discount which gain is cut in the profits.
