if you are talking about laptop/mobile 3050 gpu then it is a lot better than that but the gpu prices are so inflated due to cryptocurrency mining i can’t say it is worth it.
now you can get 2060 for 25k
Never buy Msi cards , no matter how cheap they are
MSI is top of the line buddy.
This is overpriced. Go for rx6000 for 29k from vedant
Rx6600 have the best price/performance ratio right now
Prices will be lesser in offline market. Wait 2 months or less for cheaper prices
2060 Super ROG Desktop was selling at 37k few months back in renewed condition.
Let me answer couple of questions
2060 is better than 3050 but slower than 3060 you can compare gaming performance from this review https://www.techpowerup.com/review/msi-geforce-...
Secondly price may come down in couple of months because of multiple reasons
- Mining is not profitable as it used to be in 2021 so miners are not buying cards in bulk
- ETH 2.0 will take effect soon or by the end of year which will make ETH mining impossible (Etherium is the biggest coin that most miners mine so existing miners will shift to other coins that will make them almost non profitable)
- Since the demand is low now the shops have surplus inventory and will be forced to sell them on MSRP rather than outrageous price as we see now a days, Also new 4xxx series will launch in Dec so they will have to book profit and make way for new series. (4xxx will have better performance then 3xxx where as 3 series was much better than 2 series so when prices settle with 4 series launch these 2 series cards will not find many takes)
- As mining become non profitable we will see a flood of GPU’s in second hand market dragging the price really low (Lets hope so, The wait is really long since 2020)
Combining all these factors we can assume price cut in couple of months (these are just speculations so please don’t quote me)
If we compare the prices from 2 months back they have settled down pretty well and now we are seeing close to MSRP prices
Regarding MSI as a brand, I’ve stopped buying them for almost 10yrs now due to pathetic service and we can check internet for bad review. if they changed in recent times then I would like to hear some good stories too.
@tenon09 @vkrmjeet paji is good rate? How much is this gpu less in performance than 3050?
