This IP cameras are not best suited for indoors, you'll have to go with traditional DVR setup for that
People are being misguided here . Let me confirm the details for you guys I have multiple mi cameras. In this camera what you will get is -
24x7 Live as well as recorded surveillance through mobile app or through mi tv. (desktop i dont know).. your camera should be connected to a wifi and you can view the footage from anywhere in the world. requirement to connect to same wifi is not there.
the 32gb support is there bcz the older version had different recording format and it used to take more space and now with improved compression, i guess 32 gb will be able to store atleast 8 days of continous HD recording.
The motion sensor videos which people are talking about is only for cloud storage. Mi company has made a fool of the public by misleading advertisement by saying 7 days free cloud storage. Actually , only the motion detection small clips are stored on cloud.. so even if somebody steals your camera with sd card, you can see motion detected small clips online and not the entire footage when camera is stolen. during two motion detections, there is some gap like 3minutes i guess. if one motion is detected and recorded , it will detect next motion only after 3 mins i guess. (not sure how many mins)

Only one problem - if you have to see the recording from SD card, it will be kind of streamed to ur phone so it's slow...like if you want to quick scroll, that doesn't happen. Maybe with very high speed net, it can be done.
I'm not sure but I think this will be for all such cameras.

Anyone who has used this and can confirm the recording keeps on happening on SD card even when internet goes off. The previous version didn't.
