Soon pro will be launched, no? Under 25K.
This may get further cuts as newer models are coming soon (maybe diwali-new year), isnt it? Better to wait?
Getting 1750 off with OneCard. 128GB variant coming to effective ₹23,249 - 232 (1% RP) = 23k approx.
Yes but could be a long wait for the 6th gen. going by how long it took for the release of the 5th gen. I am not buying it anyway due to just 6GB RAM.
I wants to buy a Mi pad should I wait for pad 6? What about redmi pad 6?
Going by specs alone the Redmi Pad is by far the best in its price range but I would wait for expert reviews. Xiaomi must have cut corners somewhere. I hope it's not the display like in case of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8. Plus the usual issues with MIUI.
Mi Pad 6 could be several months away.
Finally a custom ROM is available that too from a developer with a decent track record.
A13 custom ROM available. Stylus support with some limitations implemented. Native support for Mi Freeform windows next on the cards though with root it can also be enabled with the help of an LSPosed module. Although very tempted will still wait to see what the next gen. brings to the table.
So, is it worth to get the redmi pad (launched finally as I said on another thread) with helio g99 in this affordable price range? I notice dolby vision, dci-3 rating, ufs 2 vs 3 , resolution, battery, charging, camera, os as differentiators wrt mi pad5 as of now. @LIMBO
It's better to wait for detailed reviews of the Redmi Pad but on paper it's definitely worth the price. However the much superior Mi Pad 5 is only a bit more expensive. SD855 will definitely have much better custom ROM support compared to G99.
