Hello Everyone,
This Men’s Day, we’re celebrating the heroes in your life—those who inspire, motivate, and make the world a better place.
Who's your hero?
Reminds of Matthew McConaughey’s oscar speech:
Someone important comes into my life and asks “who’s your hero?” I ask for and take time to think and realize, “It’s me in 10 years.”
Ten years later, aged 25, that important person asks, “are you a hero now?” to which I reply, “no, not even close, because my hero’s me ten years later at 35.”
Which showed me: With my hero always 10 years away, I’m never gonna be my hero–I’ll never get there–but the chasing keeps me driven, real, and alive.
So Dimer's whether it’s your dad, brother, friend, teacher, or even a public figure, or even yourself we want to hear it.

My dad is my real hero. He has been the invisible mr india in my life, working behind the scenes and never complaining. Just doing what he loves to do with a smile i.e to keep everyone happy
Everyone I meet is my hero.
I admire anyone and everyone if he is on right path and does something for the society wiithout any hidden desires ,one who is truly helpful in whatever capacity one can, believes in togetherness etc
Shri Ratan Tata is amongst one of those GEMS
Arjun Kapoor is my Hero. 🤗
My heroes- my grandfather and my father.
At the age of 17-18 years, my grandfather came to India after partition. Lost his livelihood, his land, his house and then lost all the paperwork in the floods here which could have enabled him to get something from the government. Then lost his father in a few years. A big family with cousin sisters yet to be married but the man never gave up. Built a life here, started a business, got his sisters married, settled his sons and kept working till the very end not because he had to but because he enjoyed it that way. He was a pious man.
My father- somehow never got anything in inheritance because of his love for his brothers. My grandfather tried but my father didn't want the family to grew apart so he would always stop him from doing anything. Being the youngest, he was closest to the grandparents. Today, he may have lost out on inheritance but he is known for his genuine love for the family and the kind of love and respect he gets from the whole family is unimaginable in today's day and age. My dad was a respectable officer who never accepted bribes even when it was offered. My favourite story is when someone met my grandfather and told him that a particular officer in a specific branch is an honest man who doesn't do any corruption. The man didn't realise that the officer he was talking about was his son.
These two guys have shown me that one should not shy away from hard work and that money is important but not more than your family.
LIONEL MESSI - i stopped myself committing suicide just because of HIM.
"By the time a man realizes that maybe his father was right, he usually has a son who thinks he’s wrong." (Charles Wadsworth)
My father is my hero, my imperfect but indomitable hero.
I could name a lot of people who I think are heroes, but as I couldn't list them all, I will just choose Lord Shri Ram for the following reasons:
Being an example of virtue: He is seen as the epitome of righteousness and moral integrity. His life serves as a model of ideal conduct and adherence to duty.
Leadership and Bravery: During his efforts to save his wife, Sita, from the demon king Ravana, Lord Ram demonstrated extraordinary bravery and leadership. His actions in the epic symbolize the triumph of good over evil.
Loyalty and Devotion: His steadfast devotion to his family, his kingdom, and his followers exemplifies the value of selflessness and loyalty. His relationship with his brothers and followers like Hanuman highlights the significance of strong bonds and unity.
Compassion and Justice: Lord Ram's rule, often referred to as Ram Rajya, is celebrated as a period of justice, peace, and prosperity. His sense of fairness and compassion toward all beings sets a benchmark for governance and leadership.
Cultural Impact: Lord Ram's stories have influenced innumerable literary works, artistic creations, and cultural customs, and his influence cuts across religious lines. His life lessons resonate with people across generations and geographies.
These qualities, along with the stories from his life, continue to inspire me and countless others to strive to live our lives with courage, compassion, and integrity. 🙏🏻
My Grandfather 'Satyanarayan Gupta'. I had a bestfriend in him(I realized this when I became mature). Life kind off sucks without him now.
The best thing he taught me in life is to become a giver not taker.
I'm lucky to have a father, brother who always be my side.
To my father, the roots that ground me, and to my brother, the wings that lift me—their strength, guidance, and love are the pillars of my life. This Men’s Day, I celebrate the heroes who taught me to stand tall and soar high.
Also, Happy men's day to all the men in this forum—those who lent a helping hand and those who tried to pull me down—you’ve all been part of my journey. Your actions, whether lifting me or testing my strength, have shaped the resilience I carry today. Wishing you all a thought-provoking Men’s Day!

Hero - would be our own Soul
The answers lie all WIThIn and we keep searching it everywhere else
While many inspiring figures come to mind, I couldn't imagine a more profound influence than my father.
Naming anyone else would undermine the invaluable role fathers play in shaping our lives.
My father's unwavering support, selfless love, and guiding wisdom have been instrumental in shaping me into the person I am today. He embodies the qualities I strive for – strength, kindness, and compassion. My hero, my father, will always be the first and foremost source of inspiration in my life.
